Kottonmouth Kings mount lengthy fall tour
The aggressive pace of Kottonmouth Kings' U.S. club tour will continue unabated for another month as the band lends additional backing to its recently released album "High Society" (Capitol). The tour will work its way through the Midwest, Southwest and West Coast before concluding in Tucson, Ariz., on Nov. 1.
The band's latest tour began in September at an indoor snowbaording festival in Los Angeles. Other performers at the event included Eminem and Beastie Boys' Mixmaster Mike.
The group, known for its endorsement of marijuana, was recently crowned Band of the Year by High Times magazine, a publication catering to marijuana enthusiasts.
In December, the Kottonmouth Kings plan to embark on a winter tour with Insane Clown Posse, according to an announcement on the group's official website. Dates for that run have not been set, but the two groups hope to get the tour underway on Dec. 1, according to a spokesperson for the Kings.
