Jamie Foxx readies 'Intuition' tour

Jamie Foxx has released the first round of dates for a 50-city summer and fall trek of North America behind his recently released third album, "Intuition."

The "Intuition Tour" will begin with two nights in Las Vegas July 3-4, followed by arena shows in the South through mid-July. The current itinerary ends with a July 19 performance in Greensboro, NC, though the actor/musician's website mentions the tour will run through October. Additional tour dates will be added in the coming weeks. Details on the current schedule are below.

"Intuition," which surfaced last December, peaked at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and received platinum certification. The record features several guest artists, including T-Pain on the latest chart-topping single, "Blame It."

Foxx's third studio album follows up 2005's "Unpredictable," which earned the R&B singer a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album. In 2006, the performer won two BET Awards: Best Duet/Collaboration with Kanye West for "Gold Digger" and Video of the Year for the same song.
