Marshall Crenshaw readies new release
Marshall Crenshaw will release a new album, "Jaggedland," June 2 on 429 Records, according to a press release.
Crenshaw, who recorded the album partly in his hometown of Dutchess County, NY, and partly in Los Angeles, collaborated with several producers and musicians on the recording, including Jerry Boys (Buena Vista Social Club), Jim Keltner (Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan), Wayne Kramer (MC5) and Emil Richards (The Beach Boys).
"I worked with some of my heroes on this record," Crenshaw said in a statement. "We banged it out in three days. The music is really nice and the songs are off the dial--the best ones I've done."
