Fuel lines up fall tourdates

Days after completing its brief Fan Appreciation club tour, Fuel will kick off a 24-date U.S. headlining tour on Wednesday night (9/27) in Toledo, Ohio, according to the band's official website. Vallejo, the Texas rock group that opened for Fuel during the recent club dates, will continue to open on the upcoming tour.

Following Wednesday's tour opener, Fuel has two final September stops--Cincinnati and Noblesville, Ind.--before the October schedule gets underway on Oct. 2 in Chicago. A full October roster--which consists primarily of stops in the Southern states--is followed by a Nov. 4 show in Austin, Tx., the tour's last scheduled stop.

To mark the start of the tour, Fuel is scheduled to participate in an online chat with fans via the group's official website on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET, shortly before the band is scheduled to hit the stage in Toledo.

The group's latest album "Something Like Human" was released last Tuesday (9/16). "Hemorrhage," the first single from "Something Like Human," is currently at No. 4 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart, up one spot from its No. 5 position last week.
