Fenix TX fills its fall with headlining tourdates

Fenix TX will set out on a 44-date fall headlining tour that is set to kick off in Columbia, S.C., on Oct. 2, according to the band's official website. The group is touring in support of its self-titled debut, which was released in July of last year.

Good Charlotte, New Found Glory and Lefty are slated to open during Fenix TX's upcoming tour. Self-titled debuts from both Good Charlotte and New Found Glory are set to hit shelves on Tuesday (9/26). Lefty's debut, "4, 3, 2, 1," was released in July.

Since releasing its first disc last year, Fenix TX has spent much of its time touring with Blink-182. Both bands share the same management team and, during Fenix TX's opening stint on Blink-182's summer tour this year, the two groups also shared a band member. Fenix TX guitarist Damon Delapaz--who is also known as an exceptional drummer--was tapped to fill in for Blink's drummer Travis Barker after Barker injured his hand in a fight. Delapaz spent most of June and several July dates playing a full set on guitar with Fenix TX and then sitting in behind Blink-182's drumkit for the latter band's set.
