Chris Isaak gets 'Lucky'

Chris Isaak has unveiled a handful of West Coast dates along with a couple one-off performances this summer behind his latest release, "Mr. Lucky."

The trek begins with a free show April 17 in Vail, CO, followed by a three-week hiatus before the summertime portion gets underway May 9 in Dixon, CA. The singer/songwriter will also stop by a few California wineries in late August, including a three-night run at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA. Details are below.

The retro rocker is touring in support of "Mr. Lucky," his first studio album in seven years, which hit shelves in February. A limited-edition deluxe version of the record--featuring the bonus tracks "I Got It Bad" and "Dream Deferred," as well as a 6"x6" lithograph--is available at the crooner's website.

Isaak's musical career kicked off more than two decades ago with his 1984 debut, "Silvertone," though the single "Wicked Game" from 1989's "Heart Shaped World" became his best-known song, due in part to the racy music video featuring Isaak and model Helena Christensen rolling around on a beach.

The established musician also dabbles in acting, with roles in the films "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me," "Married to the Mob" and "That Thing You Do!," among others. Isaak currently hosts "The Chris Isaak Hour," a weekly talk show featuring musicians such as Trisha Yearwood, Stevie Nicks, Michael Buble and Yusuf Islam--formerly Cat Stevens--on A&E's Biography channel.
