3 Doors Down tours U.S. through Halloween

3 Doors Down has extended its upcoming U.S. tour through the end of October, according to the band's official website. The 21-date tour follows closely behind the band's European jaunt, which wrapped up on Monday (9/18) in Amsterdam, according to the group's tour itinerary.

On Saturday (9/23), 3 Doors Down is scheduled to appear in Huntsville, Ala., at the Big Spring Jam VIII festival. The group is then scheduled to kick off its headlining U.S. tour on Oct. 4 in Florida, and will spend the first half of the month travelling through Florida and other Southern states before playing a string of Texas dates beginning on Oct. 17. Several Southwestern and Western dates follow, with the band scheduled to loop back to the Northeast for an Oct. 30 stop in Rhode Island, and a Halloween date in Boston.

An Oct. 27 appearance on the Tonight Show is also scheduled, according to the band's official website.

3 Doors Down has been touring for most of the year in support of its debut album "Better Life," and spent most of the month of August opening for Creed's tour. The group's current track, "Loser," is the nation's second most-played active rock song according to this week's airplay survey by trade publication Radio & Records.
