Featured Photos: "The Music of R.E.M." Tribute Show, New York, NY - March 11, 2009

In the spirit of renewal that comes with springtime, it's fitting to hold such events as the tribute show “The Music of R.E.M.” What better way to celebrate one of America's most beloved bands than to hold a benefit supporting music education for underprivileged youth?

New York City's Carnegie Hall was completely sold out on Wednesday evening (3/11) for the lineup that featured more than 20 artists. Highlights of the night included Ingrid Michaelson, Calexico, Guster, Dar Williams, Kimya Dawson, Jolie Holland and Patti Smith to name a few.
