Fastball set for headlining club tour in October
Fastball--whose latest disc "The Harsh Light of Day," hit stores on Tuesday (9/19)--will kick off an international headlining club tour in Amsterdam on Oct. 2, according to the band's manager. An 11-date European run is scheduled, followed by 19 U.S. shows.
After the inaugural date in Holland, the group will make stops in Germany, Italy and England. The European tour is scheduled to end on Oct. 17 in London.
Once back in the States, the trio will begin its U.S. tour with three nights in its home state of Texas, starting with an Oct. 26 date in Dallas. Subsequent stops are scheduled throughout the U.S., with a final show currently set for Dec. 8 in San Diego.
"The Harsh Light of Day" is the follow-up to Fastball's 1998 platinum album "All the Pain Money Can Buy," which spawned the two successful singles "The Way" and "Out of My Head." The latest disc features guest performances by Brian Setzer and keyboardist Billy Preston.
Last month, the group set out on a 9-date "sneak preview" club tour that wrapped up in Dallas on Sept. 13, according to Fastball's official website.
