Bon Jovi helps Hillary get out of debt
Jon Bon Jovi will perform a benefit concert Jan. 15 at Manhattan's Town Hall in an effort to help Hillary Clinton pay down the remaining $6.3 million she paid out-of-pocket to support her 2008 presidential bid.
The event is being called a "final evening in support of Hillary Clinton for President Debt Relief," according to E! Online. If confirmed as Barack Obama's secretary of state, she's prohibited from seeking additional campaign contributions.
Bon Jovi held a fundraiser at his New Jersey home for Obama in October. Also during the campaign, the 46-year-old rocker reportedly lashed out at the Republican ticket for using a Bon Jovi song without authorization.
Tickets for the upcoming New York show range from $75 to $1,000.
