BBMak To Headline U.S. After Britney Tour Ends
BBMak has announced plans for its first headlining tour of the U.S., set to kick off on Oct. 24 in Philadelphia. The British boy band is currently opening for Britney Spears, and will also play a number of radio festivals before the headlining tour begins.
The trio is scheduled to open for Spears through the end of her current U.S. tour, which wraps up in New Orleans on Sept. 20. The group then has radio festival appearances scheduled in Milwaukee, Omaha, Neb., Bakersfield, Calif., Tulsa, Okla., and San Antonio, Texas.
Headlining dates are then planned through Dec. 3, along with a Nov. 23 appearance at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and a Dec. 5 performance at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.
BBMak's debut album "Sooner or Later" is at No. 44 on the Billboard 200 album chart this week. The album features the group's hit single "Back Here," which currently resides at No. 18 on The Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
The band plans to release "Still on Your Side" as its next single, according to Hollywood Records. The selection of the single was determined by fan votes, according to the label.
The group will also release a book on Sept. 23, and will appear that day at a Borders bookstore in New York City, according to the label.
