Clay Aiken is a dad

Clay Aiken became a father when his "dear friend," music producer Jaymes Foster, gave birth to a boy at a North Carolina hospital, according to a statement on the performer's website. Aiken claims that his son, Parker Foster Aiken, was born at 8:08 a.m. on 08/08/08.

"The little man is healthy, happy and as loud as his daddy," Aiken said in the statement. "Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also."

Parker weighted 6 lbs. and 2 oz. and measured 19 inches long. His dad addresses his son's name, saying it's Parker Foster Aiken, no hyphens; one first name; one middle name; one last name.
