Joan Osborne Adds Dates To North American Tour

Joan Osborne will kick off her North American tour on Friday (9/1) in Syracuse, N.Y. The latest itinerary for the tour includes newly added stops in Missouri, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine and Pennsylvania.

Since first announcing her tour in July, Osborne has added a Sept. 23 stop in St. Louis, Sept. 29 in Rochester, N.Y., Oct. 1 in New Haven, Conn., Oct. 7 in Providence, R.I., Oct. 8 in Portland, Maine, and Oct. 10 in Philadelphia.

"Righteous Love"--the follow-up to Osborne's multi-platinum 1995 album "Relish"--is set for release on Sept. 12.

The singer is also preparing to launch www.heroinemag.com, a web magazine for which she has already interviewed Susan Sarandon, Indigo Girls and Mary J. Blige, according to Interscope.
