U.K. Charts: Craig David Steals Boyzone Star’s Album Glory

LONDON-- Craig David has ended Ronan Keating's two-week reign at the top of the Official U.K. Album chart. The 19-year-old soul singer's first LP "Born to Do It" went straight to No. 1 on Sunday (8/20). Keating's debut album "Ronan," which has sold over 600,000 copies in only three weeks, fell to No. 2 and The Corrs' "In Blue" also fell one place to No. 3.

The knockdown effect made Eminem's "The Marshall Mathers EP" fall from No. 3 to No. 4, and singer-songwriter David Gray's "White Ladder" dropped from No. 4 to No. 6. Whitney Houston's "The Greatest Hits" rose six notches from No. 11 to No. 5.

New entries in the chart included Mansun's latest album "Little Kix" at No. 12 and the Bomfunk MC's "In Stereo" at No. 33.

Meanwhile, Italian DJ Spiller beat Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) to the top of the Official U.K. Singles chart with his new EP "Groovejet." "Out of Your Mind" by the True Steppers and Dane Bowers (formerly of boy band Another Level) featuring Victoria Beckham debuted at No. 2. Last week's top single "I Turn to You" by Spice Girl Mel C fell to No. 4 and Robbie Williams' "Rock DJ" also fell from No. 2 to No. 3.

The only other new entry in the Top 10 was Britney Spears at No. 5 with "Lucky."
