Country Musician Chris LeDoux Sidelined By Liver Problem

Country musician Chris LeDoux is resting at home after "a few days" of hospitalization for treatment of an undisclosed liver problem, according to a statement issued by his publicist on Tuesday (8/15). The Capitol recording artist received a "promising" prognosis from doctors, according to the statement.

LeDoux has cancelled all planned performances for this week and next, including stands at the Rooks County Free Fair in Stockton, Kan., Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, Chase County Fair in Imperial, Neb., MontanaFair in Billings and Appalachian Fair in Gray, Tenn.

Also, Capitol Records has cancelled a Aug. 23 party to celebrate the 5 million albums he has sold since signing to the label.
