Travis Barker, DJ AM plan return to the stage

Travis Barker and DJ AM will celebrate New Year's Eve with their first performance together since surviving a fiery plane crash in South Carolina.

Former Blink-182 drummer Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, will reunite as TRVSDJ-AM for New Year's Nation's Los Angeles party at The Lot. The set will stream live on the Internet and be broadcast to NYN events in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, Seattle and Portland, OR. Further information is available at NYN's website.

"I'm ready to get back on stage with AM and continue to rock the house," Barker said in a press release. "I'm very excited to bring in the New Year in my hometown of LA."

The performance will be the first for TRVSDJ-AM since the duo played a free concert for about 10,000 people in Columbia, SC, Sept. 19, after which they boarded a private plane that crashed before takeoff, killing the pilot, co-pilot and two of Barker's longtime associates.

The private Learjet ran off the end of the runway at Columbia Metropolitan Airport, crashing into lights and antennas, through a fence and into an embankment before bursting into flames, according to press reports. The accident left Barker and Goldstein in critical condition with second- and third-degree burns.

Barker has since filed a lawsuit alleging the plane was defective and the pilots were negligent, according to TV Guide.
