Jo Dee Messina To Support New Album With Fair Tour

Jo Dee Messina, who is set to release the follow-up to her double-platinum album "I'm Alright" on Aug. 1, has lined up a tour of the fair circuit to support the new LP. The country singer is also scheduled to appear on the CMT cable network program "All Access" on Wednesday (7/26).

The "All Access" program will be broadcast live from Franklin, Tenn., and is expected to feature her hits as well as some new songs. Singer-songwriter Phil Vassar will make a guest appearance on the show.

The new album "Burn" has already spawned "That's the Way," a single that has cracked the top 10 of Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Messina completed a two-day video shoot for the song in May, and the clip is now airing on the CMT and GAC cable networks.

Messina held down the opening slot on the Judds' tour earlier this year. She has also opened for George Strait and Vince Gill.
