Deftones Take On Scotland At End Of August

LONDON--Rap-metallers the Deftones have announced an intimate one-off U.K. gig following their appearance at England's Reading & Leeds Festival on August 26 & 27.

The group is to play at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, Scotland, on August 28 as part of the T in the Fringe concert series. Other artists scheduled to perform include former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown, Pulp and Julian Cope.

The Maverick Records-signed group's latest album "White Pony" debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart after it was released at the beginning of July. The foursome from Sacramento released its album "Adrenaline" in 1995, followed by "Around The Fur" in 1997.
