Fred Durst's Interscope Records imprint Flawless, in a venture with garageband.com, is looking for new talent. People can go to garageband.com's website and vote for their favorite bands. The 11 winners will perform in cities where the "Back to Basics" tour, featuring Durst's band Limp Bizkit, is playing. Representatives from Flawless will attend the winners' performances.

Less than Jake is leaving Capitol Records for an indie label to release its forthcoming album. The band is currently negotiating with the Fat Wreck Chords label.

Coolio's new label is Allied Artists Records, Billboard reported. The label plans to release Coolio's cover of "The Gambler," which he recorded with the song's originator Kenny Rogers.

The Kinleys are scheduled to appear on "CNN Showbiz Today" on July 21, on Fox's "Fox & Friends" on July 28, and on TNN's "Grand Ole Opry Live" on August 12.

Singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley's mother Mary Guibert, who co-produced his album "Mystery White Boy," is organizing "gatherings" of fans around the country to watch "Jeff Buckley--Live in Chicago," a concert video, and "Fall in Light," a documentary.

Webnoize reported that Virgin Entertainment Group, Inc. has signed a deal with musicbank.com--the yet-to-be-launched music-streaming site--in which customers who purchase CDs at Virgin Megastores can immediately add tracks from the CDs to their musicbank accounts. Musicbank plans to launch in the fall.
