Gary Allan ropes up festival, headlining dates through fall
Heading into the last days of summer, singer Gary Allan continues on the fair circuit into fall, followed by a fresh run of headlining dates through the end of the year.
The California-born country singer continues his current outing Friday night (8/28) in Milwaukee, WI, with a run of fair and festival appearances scheduled through early September. The performer's current schedule shows dates through December, including a pair of Las Vegas appearances kicking off Dec. 11. Details are below.
Allan continues to support last year's "Living Hard," his seventh studio set for MCA Nashville. The record peaked at No. 3 on The Billboard 200, boasting two singles--"Watching Airplanes" and "Learning How to Bend"--that landed in Billboard's Hot Country Songs list.
"The record has taken about a year to make, and I think the whole thing reflects change," he said of the new disc in the bio posted at his website. "I think every record sort of reflects where I'm at, and I've made a ton of changes this year, just mentally and in how I'm approaching everything.
"And I think it's much more rockin' than anything I've done," he added.
Last year, Allan also released "Greatest Hits," a 15-track career overview that included his biggest hits from his first six albums, along with two new songs, including "A Feeling Like That," which peaked at No. 12 on the country singles chart.
