The Wiggles 'Pop' into the US

The Wiggles are thrilling US pre-schoolers this summer with the "Pop Go The Wiggles Live!" tour and, word has it, the award-winning children's group will be back for a run of fall shows.

The in-progress summer jaunt continues today(8/19) with a show in Baltimore, MD, and will visit Fairfax, VA, and a few cities in North Carolina through the end of the week. Most of the dates, included below, comprise afternoon and evening performances. The specifics can be found at The Wiggles' website.

The group's song-and-dance extravaganza has youngsters wiggling in the aisles, doing the "Hot Potato," "The Monkey Dance" and other signature moves with colorful characters Sam, Murray, Jeff and Anthony, plus special guests Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword.

The highly successful Australian outfit tours North America three times a year and performs more than 200 concerts annually across four continents, according to a statement. Various sources have already started to announce fall engagements in the US and Canada.

During their 17-year-career, The Wiggles have amassed a hefty catalog of music, television, video and film projects. They've sold more than 22 million DVDs and upwards of 5 million records worldwide, according to a press release.

In July, the group put out the "The Wiggles: You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" DVD, which features 20 new songs and special guest Leo Sayer.
