Britney Spears Cancels Denver, Moves Los Angeles Show

Britney Spears has cancelled her sold-out show in Denver, CO and moved her Los Angeles, CA show to a new venue, adding another Los Angeles show in the process.

The change, which surfaces just two weeks before the planned show dates, is due to new production elements in Spears stage show which the venerable Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Hollywood Bowl could not accomodate, according to a statement issued by Los Angeles representatives for promoter SFX Concerts.

Per SFX's statement, Los Angeles fans of the pop star who have tickets for the July 31st Hollywood Bowl show can return to their point of purchase and exchange their tickets for comparable seats at the Great Western Forum, which will now host Spears' July 31st date as well as a new July 30th date.

Ticketholders can choose from either show in making their exchange, but exchanges will be cut off on Thursday (7/20) at 5 PM, according to the promoter.

SFX will release the remaining seats for both Forum shows through Ticketmaster on Friday (7/21) at 10 AM.
According to a statement issued by SFX's Colorado office, the promoter will not move or reschedule the Denver-area show.
