Candlebox keeps burning up the road

Rockers Candlebox continue to ignite concert halls this spring and summer in support of their forthcoming record "Into the Sun," which hits stores July 22.

The tour continues tonight (6/13) at Omaha, NE's Rosenblatt Stadium, and shows are now scheduled clear through to September. More dates are expected to be announced soon.

"Stand," the first single off Candlebox's fourth studio album, "Into the Sun," is in rotation at more than 75 active/alternative/mainstream rock stations across the US, according to a press release. "Stand" along with two other new tracks, "Surrendering" and "Into the Sun," are available for purchase on iTunes. The set was produced by Ron Aniello (Lifehouse, Barenaked Ladies).

Candlebox's 2008 lineup features three of the band's four founding members, including the original Candlebox songwriting team of singer Kevin Martin and guitarist Peter Klett, along with original drummer Scott Mercado. "Into The Sun" marks the band's first new record in 10 years.
