The Kinleys Launch Summer Tour

Twin sisters Heather and Jennifer Kinley launched their U.S. tour on Wednesday night (7/5) in Connecticut. The Kinleys are touring in support of "II," which is scheduled for a July 18 release, and is the follow-up to their 1998 debut "Just Between You and Me."

Originally from Philadelphia, the 29-year-old twins relocated to Nashville at age 19, where they worked as waitresses for over six years before landing a recording contract with Sony Music Nashville. The duo's first album garnered the sisters the Academy of Country Music's award for Best New Duo or Group that year, as well as Grammy, American Music Awards and Country Music Association nominations.

"She Ain't the Girl for You," the first single from the Kinleys' forthcoming album, was released several weeks ago, and currently sits at No. 39 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Their U.S. tour is currently scheduled to wrap up in Atlantic City on Sept. 15.
