Stevie Nicks expands June outing

Stevie Nicks continues to the fill the month of June with tour dates around the eastern half of the US.

The Grammy-winning chanteuse, who launched the spring/summer touring season last weekend with a couple of arena shows on the East Coast, will return to the road June 5 with a performance in Biloxi, MS. So, far she has 15 concerts on the books, including a two-night stand in Atlantic City and a gig in Rama, Ontario. Since last check, Nicks has added dates in Chicago; Cincinnati; Wantagh, NY; and Holmdel, NJ. Details are listed below.

The solo outing comes just as rumors of a Fleetwood Mac tour have been making headlines. The tentative plans came to light when Nicks' friend Sheryl Crow announced last month that she might join the band. Fleetwood Mac singer/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham responded to Billboard that the group is pondering the idea of touring next year, possibly with new material, but said Crow's involvement is not a done deal.

Meanwhile, Nicks recently told Q Magazine that she is working on a new solo album.

At the moment, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is supporting her career-spanning, greatest-hits package, "Crystal Visions: The Very Best of Stevie Nicks," which surfaced last spring and peaked at No. 21 on The Billboard 200. The set delves into material from the singer's three-decade career as a solo artist and as a member of Fleetwood Mac. It includes live tracks, dance remixes and a DVD comprising 13 videos with voice-over commentary by Nicks, plus an audio interview by journalist David Wild. The DVD also includes never-before-seen home video filmed during the making of Nicks' five-times platinum "Bella Donna" album.

Nicks' most recent solo album is 2001's "Trouble in Shangri-La" and her latest with Fleetwood Mac is 2003's "Say You Will."
