D'Angelo Schedules Summer Leg Of "Voodoo" Tour

R&B singer D'Angelo will return to the road next month in support of his latest album "Voodoo." The tour's summer leg will kick off in New Orleans on July 2, and is currently scheduled to run through Sept. 4.

Released in January, "Voodoo" is the follow-up to D'Angelo's highly successful debut 1995 disc "Brown Sugar." "Voodoo" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, and features the hit single "Untitled (How Does It Feel?)."

The 25-year-old D'Angelo--who has been compared to such artists as Prince and Marvin Gaye--ended the first leg of his North American tour in early May.
