3 Doors Down Embark On Summer Tour

Rock quintet 3 Doors Down kicked off its tour on Tuesday (5/30) in Des Moines, IA. The band is headlining this year's annual Cutty Sark Rock the Boat Concert Tour.

The Biloxi, Mississippi-based band released their debut album "The Better Life" in February. That album's first single "Kryptonite" quickly became a popular radio hit, and the album was certified platinum last month.

Prior to landing the top spot on the Cutty Sark tour, 3 Doors Down performed a series of dates as the opening act for Creed and Sevendust.
