Shawn Colvin Tours Through The Summer

Folk musician Shawn Colvin has announced the dates of her summer tour, scheduled to begin in Iowa on June 10. Colvin--whose most recent album, "Holiday Songs and Lullabies," was released in October 1998--will be performing an acoustic set each night.

Colvin broke into the mainstream in 1997 with the help of her Grammy-nominated "A Few Small Repairs" and that album's hit single, "Sunny Came Home." She was one of the featured artists at last year's Lilith Fair, which was the final installment of that annual tour featuring female musicians.

In addition to headlining her own acoustic tour, Colvin will open for Sting during a handful of dates.
