The Judds Extend Reunion Tour Through July

The reunion of the mother-daughter country music team of Wynonna and Naomi Judd will return to the road for a brief tour of the amphitheater circuit in June and July. The jaunt--which was originally scheduled to end in March--isn't expected to run beyond the early summer.

According to Wynonna's official website, the first 20 reunion shows played to more than 200,000 people. The duo's next concert will take place on June 10 and will serve as the kick-off for Fan Fair, Nashville's annual country music gathering, featuring concerts, fan club events, autograph signings and other attractions.

A new album, " The Judds Reunion: Live" (Mercury), was released earlier this month. Recorded on New Year's Eve 1999, the album documents the duo's first live concert together since Naomi retired from the band in 1991 to battle hepatitis. The album features 23 tracks, including some of Wynonna's solo hits.

In February, four new songs by the duo were issued on a limited-edition bonus disc that was distributed with Wynonna's "New Day Dawning" album.

Besides playing with the Judds, Wynonna is also touring solo this spring and summer.
