More Warped Tour details emerge

Dates, cities and more acts have been announced for this summer's 13th annual Vans Warped Tour.

So far, the outing looks set to start off June 28 in San Diego. The Warped Tour website currently lists 45 shows in cities all over the US and Canada through August, but venues have yet to be announced.

The lineup, which includes Warped regulars Bad Religion, was updated Wednesday (2/28) with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Flogging Molly, Poison the Well, As I Lay Dying, The Briefs and The Toasters added to the list. More acts, including several ska bands, are still to come before ticket pre-sales kick off April 1, according to organizers. Confirmed bands and the shows they will play are listed below, followed by confirmed dates and cities where the tour will touch down.

Meanwhile, it seems that Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman is getting a little frustrated with complaints about the lineup.

"It has been a very interesting Vans Warped tour to book over 4,000 submissions; in booking the tour this year, I felt that a diverse line-up was in order," Lyman said in a message on Warped's website. "The tour has always been a place to explore and discover new music. This year's lineup has old school, emo, punk, screamo, hip-hop, more ska than you have seen in a long time and everything in between. If open minded, this will be a great show; if you're not, this might be the year to stay home and go do something constructive with your lives instead of complaining about the line-up on the message boards."

The Vans Warped Tour is America's longest-running touring festival, according to a press release. It is known for bringing together a slew of cutting-edge acts along with extreme sports and other attractions for a reasonable price. Last year's ticket cost $25.
