Venues Named For Dr. Dre’s “Up In Smoke” Tour

update: Venues have been confirmed for all but three of the 25 cities that will be visited by the Dr. Dre-fronted "Up In Smoke" tour, which will also feature Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Eminem, and Warren G. The tour opens on June 15 near San Diego, and will run for seven weeks.

The tour--originally billed as the "Hip Hop 2000" tour--marks Dr. Dre's first national tour as a solo artist.

The outing isn't being billed as an N.W.A. reunion tour. However, Dre, Ice Cube and MC Ren--members of the influential gangsta rap group--are expected to perform some N.W.A. songs together with Snoop Dogg occupying the slot of founding member Easy-E, who died of AIDS in 1995.
