TLC Tour Adds R&B Group Ideal, Schedules Show In Albany, N.Y.

Beginning on Oct. 27, R&B foursome Ideal will join the growing list of opening acts on the upcoming TLC "Fan Mail" tour, a list which includes Destiny's Child and K-Ci & JoJo. TLC has also added a Nov. 15 Albany, N.Y. show to its itinerary. Tickets for that show will go onsale Oct. 18.

The tour gets underway with shows in three Canadian cities Oct. 22-25.

Houston-based Ideal released their self-titled debut album on Virgin Records Urban earlier this year. Their first single, ''Get Gone,'' peaked at #3 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart and at #2 on the magazine's Heatseekers List.

Though Christina Aguilera did tell MTV News that she would appear on the TLC tour in November, the former Mouseketeer who topped the charts earlier this year has not been confirmed for any shows. However, MTV now reports that Aguilera may join the tour in January.

On Oct. 20, TLC will be featured on MTV's narrator-free biography program ''BIOrhythm''.
