All-American Rejects to head up fall 'Tournado Tour'
Following their October college outing with fellow rockers Damone, The All-American Rejects will keep their tour bus rolling through the end of the fall atop the roster of a multi-act outing dubbed the "Tournado Tour."
The group has lined up a new round of shows that kick off in late October, and is scheduled to make stops in more than two-dozen cities as it works its way through an itinerary that wraps up in Chicago about a week before Christmas. Details are included below.
Also shown below is the schedule for the band's previously announced college trek with Boston-based Damone, which launches early next month.
Joining AAR on the "Tournado Tour" roster will be Motion City Soundtrack, The Starting Line, The Format and Gym Class Heroes.
Released last year, The All-American Rejects' "Move Along" features the hit-single title-track, the music video for which earned the band a win in the Best Group Video category at last month's MTV Video Music Awards.
"Holy crap!" the group wrote of the its victory in a recent blog entry posted at its MySpace webpage. "We're still reeling from our very unexpected win at the VMA's for Best Group Video. We seriously didn't think we had a chance."
The "Move Along" video is streaming at the group's website, as is the companion clip for the band's latest single, "It Ends Tonight."
