Nickelback readies for headlining run, Bon Jovi shows
Canadian rockers Nickelback give their neighbors to the south another visit this summer during a lengthy US headlining trek, in the midst of which they'll open a number of stadium dates for Bon Jovi.
The group gets things started at the end of June with a series of concerts throughout the Northeast and Midwest, followed by the Bon Jovi gigs, which are scattered throughout the second half of July.
From there, it's back to headliner status for another stretch of shows that runs from early August through at least mid-September. Details are included below.
Nickelback's headlining dates will also feature Hoobastank and Chevelle, according to a press release, and more shows will be announced in the coming weeks.
Before tackling the US outing, Nickelback will tour Europe with Bon Jovi from May 15 through June 11. More information about that leg of the tour is posted at Nickelback's website.
Nickelback continues to back last October's "All the Right Reasons." The disc, which sold about 317,000 copies during its first week out and debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart, features the cut "Savin' Me." The song's music video is streaming at the band's website.
