George Strait, Reba McEntire regroup for 2011 dates
George Strait, Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack -- who toured together earlier this year -- will get together in early 2011 to tackle another round of arena dates.
Strait is vying for the Male Vocalist of the Year award for the 24th time at next week's 44th Annual CMA Awards, and his latest album, "Twang," is up for Album of the Year. In 2009, he was named the Academy of Country Music's Artist of the Decade.
McEntire -- who has sold more than 55 million albums worldwide, according to her publicist -- is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at this year's CMA Awards, and is also vying for four ACM awards. She'll release a new album titled "All the Women I Am" on Nov. 9.
Womack's latest release is titled "Call Me Crazy." She worked on the album with Strait's longtime producer Tony Brown, and many musicians who have played on Strait's albums can be heard on the set. She duets with Strait on the track "Everything But Quits."
