Heart returns to Canadian roots with 35th anniversary tour

Heart will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Canadian outfit's debut album, "Dreamboat Annie," with an extensive homeland tour next year.
The band will begin their first coast-to-coast tour in nearly 30 years with a Jan. 28 show in St. John's, Newfoundland. The 20-date run spreads throughout the nation, concluding Feb. 26 in the group's hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia.
The full schedule is shown at right and tickets go on sale Friday (11/5) via the band's website.
In August, the rockers--led by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson--released "Red Velvet Car," their first new studio set since 2004's "Jupiters Darling." The effort debuted at No. 10 on The Billboard 200, making it the seventh Top 10 album of the band's career.
Heart has sold more than 30 million albums since their 1976 debut, "Dreamboat Annie," according to a press release.
