Travis Tritt heads out on fall excursion

Travis Tritt will maintain his country crooner status with a six-week fall road trip that will focus on the eastern portion of the nation.
The Grammy Award winner begins the journey Friday (11/5) with a stop in Tulsa, OK, followed by another nine U.S. gigs. A trio of West Coast stops -- Nov. 2 in Winterhaven, CA; Nov. 3 in Las Vegas and Nov. 4 in Friant, CA- - is also on the schedule, which is shown at right.
Tritt's Nov. 11 concert in Newport, KY, will be a one-off solo acoustic performance, according to his website.
Tritt, whose discography spans two decades, most recently released his 10th studio album, "The Storm," in 2007.
The 12-track set, which peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, includes original songs as well as three covers (Richard Marx's "You Never Take Me Dancing," Nickelback's "Should've Listened" and Hank Williams, Jr.'s "The Pressure Is On").
