Elton John, Leon Russell add dates to "The Union" tour

Longtime friends and iconic pianists Elton John and Leon Russell have added a few more cities to the tour behind their forthcoming album "The Union."
Among the new dates on the itinerary is an Oct. 28 show in London, which will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2. Highlights from that show will make it into a television special titled "A Night In With Sir Elton John," which airs Oct. 30 on BBC Two.
Two new U.S. dates have been confirmed as well: Nov. 5 at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA, and Nov. 6 at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix.
The pair previously announced shows in New York City and Los Angeles.
Russell and John first toured together 40 years ago. "The Union" is set for release in North America on Oct. 19.
The 16 tracks that make up "The Union" were written by John and lyricist Bernie Taupin, with Russell and Burnett pitching in on a few. Guest artists featured on the album include Neil Young, Brian Wilson, organist Booker T. Jones and steel guitarist Robert Randolph.
