Phish's Mike Gordon takes new album for a spin
Phish bassist Mike Gordon will unleash his third solo album on Oct. 19 and follow it with a November tour.
Rounder Records will release "Moss," which features Gordon singing and playing bass while also handling guitar, piano and drum programming. His Phish friends Page McConnell and Jon Fishman appear on the album, as well as drummers Joe Russo and Doug Belote and organist Marco Benevento.
Gordon will tour with Phish from Oct. 8 to 31 and then start his nationwide solo tour Nov. 6 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA.
