Miranda Lambert piles up more CMA Awards nominations

Miranda Lambert, who learned she was vying for five CMA Awards yesterday, got word of four additional nominations this morning when nominees in the remaining CMA categories were revealed on ABC-TV's "Good Morning America."
Lambert's nine nominations are the most for a female artist in the CMA Awards' 43-year history.
Lambert -- who, along with Dierks Bentley appeared on "GMA" for the announcement of the remaining nominees -- picked up nods this morning in the entertainer of the year, female vocalist of the year, album of the year (for "Twang") and musical event of the year categories.
Yesterday, she learned of nominations in both the single of the year and music video of the year categories for two tracks, "White Liar" and "The House That Built Me." "White Liar" is also nominated in the song of the year category.
Lady Antebellum picked up two more nominations this morning, giving the group a total of six. The Zac Brown Band added two more nominations today, and are now vying for four awards total.
The 44th Annual CMA Awards will be handed out Nov. 10 during a Nov. 7 ceremony hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. The festivities will be broadcast live on ABC-TV.
