Nick Cave's Grinderman revs up for album, tour

Grinderman -- Nick Cave's relatively new band with Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos -- will start a three-week tour on Nov. 13 at the House of Blues in Cambridge, MA.
The band will be supporting "Grinderman 2," which Anti- will release on Sept. 14. An iTunes LP has been assembled as well, which will contain the album, the bonus track "Fire Boy," remixes from Andrew Weatherall and Factory Floor and "Super Heathen Child," a collaboration with Robert Fripp, as well as a digital booklet and lyrics. The iTunes LP also includes the "Heathen Child" video and seven video trailers.
Grinderman released its self-titled debut album in 2007. The group features some members of Cave's best-known group, the Bad Seeds (drummer Sclavunos, bassist Casey and violinist Ellis), and centers around Cave's blossoming interest in playing lead guitar.
