Goo Goo Dolls have added more dates and a live Sirius XM satellite radio performance to their in-progress road trip ahead of their long-awaited new album, "Something For The Rest of Us," which surfaces next week.

The New York-based alt-rockers continue the excursion with a Sunday (8/29) performance at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, followed by an Aug. 31 concert at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, to be broadcast live on Sirius XM station The Coffee House. The band will perform songs from the new set, which hits retailers that day, as well as their chart-topping hits, according to a press release. The show can be heard 6 p.m. ET and 3:00 p.m. PT on Sirius channel 30 and XM channel 51.

Goo Goo Dolls finish up the remaining 18 US dates with an Oct. 30 show in Salamanca, NY, before heading across the pond for an eight-date UK tour.

The full itinerary, including overseas gigs, is shown at right.

Tickets for most shows are available now, while the remaining dates go on sale in the coming weeks.

"Something For the Rest of Us," the band's ninth studio effort, goes on sale Aug. 31. Produced by the band as well as Tim Palmer (U2, David Bowie), Butch Vig (Nirvana, Green Day) and Rob Cavallo, the Warner Bros. release marks the outfit's first collection of new material since 2006's "Let Love In."

"The things I wanted to address were the emotional impact of the uncertain times that we live in -- more on a personal level than making some grand political or social statement," frontman Johnny Rzeznik explained about the album's inspiration in a recent interview with SoundSpike. "The best way I can put it is: It's about people who are trying to hang on to their humanity during a time when it's getting harder and harder to stay human."
