Eagles fill out fall traipse before heading Down Under

The Eagles have expanded their forthcoming fall run, adding another eight stops to the tour, which centers around their Oct. 10 headlining gig at the Austin City Limits Festival.
The rock icons are slated to kick off the excursion with an Oct. 1 show in Reno, NV, followed by another four gigs before taking the stage Oct. 10 for closing duties of the ninth annual Austin City Limits Festival. Seven additional performances round out the American tour, which wraps up Oct. 24 in Des Moines, IA.
The band also has an Australian leg on the schedule, beginning with a two-night stand Dec. 2-3 in Darling Harbour and concluding in late December with four shows in Melbourne.
The full schedule, including international dates, is listed at right.
The Eagles continue promoting their chart-topping 2007 release, "Long Road Out of Eden." The band's seventh studio album, which was their first studio effort since 1979's "The Long Run," won Best Instrumental Pop Performance at the 2009 Grammy Awards.
