Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood return to host 2010 CMA Awards

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are set to co-host the CMA Awards for the third time, the Country Music Association announced today.
"The CMAs are different from any other awards night," Paisley said in a statement. "You're looking at a roomful of people who love each other. And any new viewer will be pleasantly surprised at what they relate to on the awards and what they like that they had no idea they would like. For that reason alone, this is the most important night of the year for country music."
Added Underwood: "It's all about country music. We all live here. This is our community. The CMA Awards are in Nashville, the home of country music. It's great to come here and celebrate that every year."
As previously reported, nominees will be announced in two batches: one group will be announced Aug. 31 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, where Justin Moore and Chris Young will announce the finalists in seven CMA Awards categories; and the following morning Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert will announce nominees in the five remaining categories from the "Good Morning America" studios in New York's Times Square.
The 44th Annual CMA Awards will be handed out Nov. 10 during a Nov. 7 ceremony at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. The festivities will be broadcast live on ABC-TV.
