Atreyu takes hard-rock "Congregation" to dozens of clubs
California metalcore outfit Atreyu will take on the "Congregation of the Damned Tour" this fall, bringing along a handful of support acts for the Monster Energy Drink-sponsored run.
The quintet, which just completed a run with the Mayhem Festival, will get started with an Oct. 20 performance in Anaheim, CA, followed by another 30 gigs spread across the continent. Six Canadian shows are also on the books, including concerts in Calgary (10/27), Toronto (11/2) and Montreal (11/3). Following the tour's Nov. 27 wrap-up in Los Angeles, the band will head across the pond for five European arena shows. The full schedule is shown at right.
An Australian leg will be added at the band's website in the coming days, according to a press release.
Bless The Fall, Chiodos, Architects (UK) and Endless Hallway will provide opening support on the outing.
Atreyu unveiled "Congregation of the Damned," the group's fifth studio release, in October and it peaked at No. 18 on The Billboard 200. "Ravenous," one of the album's singles, will be featured in the video game Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock, which will hit retailers Sept. 24.
