Ani DiFranco plans fall club, theater run across eastern states
Just a couple weeks after giving birth to a son, singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco has announced plans for a three-week club and theater trek across the eastern U.S.
The New York native and feminist icon will get started with a Sept. 21 show in Columbus, OH, and continue on for another nine shows, wrapping up Nov. 16 in New York City.
DiFranco released her 17th studio effort, "Which Side Are You On?," in January 2012 via her own Righteous Babe label. The effort, which landed at No. 26 on The Billboard 200, follows 2008's "Red Letter Year."
