Country legend George Jones hospitalized in Nashville
Iconic country star George Jones has put a couple of weekend shows on hold due to his hospitalization Thursday (4/18).
Concerts in Atlanta (4/19) and Salem, VA (4/20), have been postponed, making Jones' next appearance on his final tour a little more than a week out -- April 27 in Huntsville, AL.
The 82-year-old performer had a slight fever and irregular blood pressure during a routine checkup, leading doctors to admit him into a Nashville hospital for observation, according to a press release.
Information about the rescheduling of the two "Grand Tour" concerts will be announced soon via Jones' website.
