New Order plan stateside push behind "Lost Sirens"
English rock outfit New Order will make a quick run through the eastern portion of the U.S. this summer in support of the recently released "Lost Sirens."
The New Wave pioneers will make a stop at Indio, CA's Coachella Festival this weekend (4/20) before heading back across the pond for a few early summer European dates.
The latest U.S. leg kicks off July 19 in Austin, TX, and hits six more major markets scattered across the eastern half of the nation over the course of that month. The road trip currently wraps with an Aug. 2 performance at Chicago's Lollapalooza.
Holy Ghost will handling opening duties on most dates. Tickets go on sale later this week, according to the band's website.
"Lost Sirens," New Order's ninth studio effort, hit retailers Jan. 14 via Rhino Records. The eight-track collection was recorded during the production of 2005's "Waiting for the Sirens' Call," but didn't get released as intended due to the band's 2007 breakup.
