Jimmy Buffett tacks more stops onto "Songs From St. Somewhere" run
"Margaritaville" magnate Jimmy Buffett has added a few more stops to his upcoming "Songs From St. Somewhere" run of North America with his Coral Reefer Band.
The iconic crooner and his backing musicians will kick off the scattered trek with an April 27 show in Nashville, TN. Since last check, three more dates have been penciled onto the itinerary: June 27 in Noblesville, IN; June 29 in Chicago; and July 20 in Detroit.
The stateside outing, which hits 14 major markets, wraps up with two performances (8/20 and 8/22) in Wantagh, NY.
Tickets are available now via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
Buffett most recently released "Buffet Hotel," his 28th studio set, in late 2009 via his own Mailboat Records. The 12-track album peaked at No. 17 on The Billboard 200 and at the top of the magazine's Top Independent Albums chart.
Last month, Buffett announced plans to produce the eponymous Broadway adaptation of "Big Fish." Five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman will direct the play, which will debut in New York City Sept. 5. More information is available at the production's website.
