Just a few months after her Super Bowl halftime performance, Beyonce will return to New Orleans' Superdome during her "Mrs. Carter Show" excursion to take part in the Essence Music Festival, slated for July 4-7.

"We are incredibly excited to welcome Beyonce back to the 2013 Essence Festival lineup. She is truly the ultimate Essence woman," said Essence Communications President, Michelle Ebanks. "If you missed her tour de force in New Orleans, please join us this Fourth of July weekend so that you can experience it live for yourself at the Essence Festival."

Other artists scheduled to perform at the event celebrating the monthly African-American-focused magazine include Jill Scott, Maxwell, Keyshia Cole, New Edition, Brandy, LL Cool J, Jody Watley and Blackstreet. The full list of performers is listed below, and more will be revealed soon, according to the festival's website.

Tickets for the 2013 Essence Music Festival, which also features speakers Al Sharpton, Donnie McClurkin, Dr. Steve Perry, Bishop Lester Love and Tramaine Hawkins, are available now via Ticketmaster.
